Day 1
On arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport you will be collected and transferred to your luxury hotel in the up-market suburb of Sandton. Your elegant and exclusive hotel is situated adjacent to the up-market shopping center, Nelson Mandela Square. Take the rest of the day to relax and unwind from your international flight.

Day 2 and 3
At 09h00 your hired car will be delivered to you and after a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel head off towards the undulating hills of the Mpumalanga province. Pass through the picturesque trout-fishing village of Dullstroom and continue to your homely luxury lodge just the other side of White River (three and a half hours drive). Oliver’s Restaurant and Lodge’s philosophy is to extend a warm welcome to anybody entering their little haven and to let them unwind in a peaceful and tranquil setting, spoil them with mouth-watering dishes together with professional, personalised and friendly service.
Oliver’s is a great base from which to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Panorama Route, a hauntingly beautiful landscape. It’s an area where highland meets lowland, an area of dramatic mountain scenery, of forested evergreen hills, thundering waterfalls and cool mountain streams. On your full day here enjoy a scenic drive to visit to Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Pinnacle Rock viewpoints, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the historic gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest. Try to include an exciting optional hot air balloon flight or scenic helicopter flight over the Panorama Route. Both of these options are exhilarating experiences.

Day 4, 5 and 6
After being spoilt with tantalizing mouth-watering cuisine at breakfast time, enjoy a visit to some of the fairytale waterfalls in the area, such as Mac Mac Falls and Lone Creek Falls and enjoy the short hikes that are available. Then make your way north into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and to your luxury game lodge arriving at around lunchtime. Sabi Sand Reserve is well known for its excellent Big 5 game viewing in particular the leopard sightings.
Savanna Private Game Reserve within the Sabi Sand, is the epitome of a fully inclusive and diverse African wildlife and cultural experience. Memorable and exciting big game viewing and a fascinating insight into the local tribal customs of the Shangaan people, will form part of your safari experience.
Guests visiting Savanna are offered an authentic Shangaan Village tour. Mr Zamani Mathabula, organiser of these Tours, gives the guests a traditional experience of local Village life. Part of the tour consists of a visit to the Witchdoctor, the Chief, the Chivakani Preschool and the Ian Mackenzie High School.
You will spend 3 nights here enjoying twice daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles guided by experienced professional game rangers and trackers. Optional guided walks and optional pampering sessions and treatments at the luxury spa are also available to you.

Day 7
After enjoying a fabulous African wildlife experience its time to hop back into your hired car for the homeward journey. Make your way to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit (one and a half hours drive) to drop off your hired car and catch your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, make your way to the international departures hall to catch your flight home.
