A new and exciting seven night mobile ride using our Two Mashatus camp as well as private family-owned lodges on Mashatu, as well as neighbouring Charter. Various dates are on offer from February to November.

This 7 night ride offers guests the same benefits of doing a mobile safari but with the added attraction of more luxurious accommodation. The lodges are family-owned, private and exclusive with en-suite bathrooms and most have swimming pools.

As we traverse the greater expanse of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve, guests have the opportunity to enjoy sightings of animals such as elephant, leopard, lion, wild dog, hyaena and cheetah as well as a huge range of bird species, antelope and smaller game. With no fences within the reserve, this is truly one of the wildest places in Africa!  Currently we have four lodges which we use for this ride as well as our very own ‘Out of Africa’ base camp : Two Mashatus.

Itinerary in brief

Day 1

Road transfer from Johannesburg International Airport to Two Mashatus Camp (5.5hr drive) including border crossing at Pont Drift. Short introductory ride.

Overnight at Two Mashatus Camp FB

Day 2

Enjoy 6 hour ride traversing hills and ridges to the luxurious Naledi Camp in northern Mashatu Game Reserve. Afternoon guided bush walk.

Overnight at Naledi Camp FB

Day 3

Leisurely 4.5 hr ride to Kanda Farm. Afternoon game drive.

Day 4

Leisurely 4 hr morning ride. Afternoon guided bush walk.

Day 5

Head out to Pitsani Plains for an exhilarating gallop. Afternoon game drive

Overnight at Senthata Lodge. FB

Discover the valleys of the Limpopo River. Afternoon game drive

Overnight at Limpopo House. FB

Day 7

Follow Limpopo River enjoyable 4 hour ride. Afternoon stroll.

Overnight at Two Mashatus Camp. FB

Day 8

Early morning 2 hour ride. Road transfer back to Johannesburg International Airport.
